“Those who believe in the Pre-Trib Rapture are just Escapists” ? Just tell them “if the Scripture fits, I’ll wear it!” Luke 21:36 says “Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man. (Luke 21:36 (KJV)) “ Further the word for escape in Greek, may very well mean TO VANISH OUT OF PLACE AND TIME. According to Strong’s dictionary.”
The Greek word is ἐκφεύγω, ek-fyoo’-go and the root is from ‘ek’ and ‘fyoo-go’. Ek meaning a primary preposition denoting origin (the point whence action or motion proceeds), from, out (of place, time, and fyoo-go, a primary verb; to run away (literal or figurative); by implication to shun; by analogy to vanish:- escape, flee (away).-Strong’s Talking Greek & Hebrew Dictionary. The implication is clear here that to ‘escape’ could be interpreted TO VANISH OUT OF PLACE AND TIME. We who believe that the rapture will occur before the Tribulaion do not believe that we will escape the Tribulation because we are cowards or not aware of what the Scripture teaches, but rather it is because we believe that is what Jesus taught and the Word says.
